Glittering Accessories

Which girl doesn't love a little glitter? For a couple of seasons now, glitter shoes have been the rage across all runways and top brands - and they come with a price tag that will make you faint!. Here's a fun and economical way to turn a boring old pair of sandals into a trendy pair of glitter shoes that will be perfect with your sarees, salwar suits and western outfits as well! All you need are

• A pair of shoes you want to revamp
• Glitter in a colour of your choice (gold, bronze and silver work best for Indian clothes)
• Acrylic glue
• A flat thick paintbrush
• A mixing cup

Directions

Pour the glue into the mixing cup and add the glitter in small proportions till you get a nice spreadable consistency. Dip your paint brush into the mix and start to paint over your shoe covering the entire surface. Leave it to dry overnight and cover up the places you might have missed with more glitter. To seal in the glitter spray the shoe with clear lacquer spray.

Voila! Your new glitter shoes are ready to flaunt!
